Your Eyes,

Seem like a deep ocean to me

I can dive in it every day

I can drown and struggle for my life

I can deliberately hold my breath & make myself die

In the ocean of your eyes,

I can get lost with the beings of the blue,

the depth of your thoughts,

and calmness of your soul,

In your eyes, I see a whole world

it takes me to a journey,

I've never experienced before,

I can see things I never dared to see before

I can reach the sky,

without the fear of falling on the ground

I can get touched by the breeze,

without the fear of being swayed away

In your eyes, I see fertile lands,

and I see abandoned deserts,

I see someone reaching for a hand,

I see the places no one else has seen before

By your eyes, I can look through your soul

I can see the cracks of agony,

I can see the years of suffering

I can see the isolation of loved ones

I can see the dryness of tears

I can see the bravery and fears

In your eyes, I can see myself

I can see what I want to see

and still believe myself...

Through your eyes,

I see myself confident and fierce,

a different version that I've never seen

I can touch the scars and mend the cracks

I can heal the wounds and lift up the dark

In your eyes, I see energy and the magic

I see the charm and the spells

I see you being a healer,

a counsellor and a ruler

It might surprise you,

how I see you through my eyes

how I perceive you through my thoughts

don't call me deluded, or some maniac

for your eyes lift up my soul,

I gain energy through my pain,

I see myself melting through the window pane

I see myself shine in the dark

I see you darting a spear, straight into my heart

through your eyes, all of this started

through your eyes, I've become vulnerable

can you pat me again tonight in your refuge?

can you show me how can I stay alive?

talking of life, my love,

I have a silent query for you

can you let me dive again inside your eyes?

This was the piece that I wrote years ago. I still consider it a draft. Posting it without any tweaks because each word came directly from my heart.
